Thanksgiving Cooking Club


With a consistent chill in the air and the chatter of upcoming Thanksgiving plans, we have been swapping Thanksgiving recipes and dreaming of comforting fall foods here at Local Roots NYC. In preparation for one of our favorite, food-filled holidays, we’re hosting a Cooking Club, Thanksgiving style! 

We hope you join us on Monday, November 14 in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn as we gather in a relaxed, intimate setting to share kitchen skills with other home chefs. Chef Lee, who has worked in many kitchens, will be leading us through one of her Thanksgiving favorites. Ingredients sourced from Local Roots CSA will be used to create each dish. This is a perfect opportunity to gather with other foodies and practice new and old Thanksgiving recipes before the big day later this month. There’s no need to be an expert chef, this is the ideal environment to practice, learn, and share but if you don’t feel comfortable teaching others, simply come and learn.

After preparing our feast in the kitchen, we’ll all gather together around the table to enjoy our creations with spiced warm Fall wine cocktails to the sounds of a fabulous playlist.
