How Do Subscriptions Work?Hudson Valley produces oil using seeds sourced from growing partners in the Hudson Valley area. This neutral oil has a 387 degree smoke point, which makes it great for almost any cooking method. Use it for your next sauté, stir fry, deep fry or baking project. Floral yet hearty, this luscious oil also works wonderfully as a base for dips and dressings.

The Problem
When it comes to oils, most tend to be mass-produced and imported from all over the globe. Many also contain toxic, chemical pesticides. These commercially produced vegetable oils, like sunflower oil, are in very high demand and make up 20-30% of global crop lands. This has historically led to deforestation, and therefore global warming, as natural ecosystems are being destroyed to make more room for this oil production.
Our Food Fix
This sunflower oil is created sustainably and ethically, with zero waste in mind. Hudson Valley Cold Pressed Oils worksdirectly with the Giles family and Walbridge Farms, who grow the sunflowers for them. As they craft the oil, a byproduct of the oil is created, which happens to be a near perfect protein and healthier overall option for farmers to feed their livestock. They give this new feed back to the farmers which helps to create healthier animals and a better product for the farmers to sell. This relationship is a near perfect cycle and creates a strong bond between them and their local farmers.
