When founder Wen-Jay first started Local Roots, things like local food and organic living were for one kind of demographic. She wanted to diversify this so local food and good food could be inclusive. So, that's the vibe we're going for at Local Roots at the Market + Cafe in Brooklyn – anyone can be there who wants to eat good food.
That's part of why we host drag brunches in our café. We’re bringing drag culture and food culture together for all humans to enjoy.
