Egg Drop Soup
1 cup veggie or chicken broth, chicken is preferred and homemade is even better – order your pasture raised chickens here
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
2 teaspoons water (optional)
1 egg, beaten – order your pasture raised eggs here
1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper (optional)

1. In a small saucepan, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce and sesame oil. Bring to a boil.
2. Stir together the cornstarch and water to dissolve cornstarch; pour into the boiling broth. 3. Set fork parallel to pot so you can pour egg over the piths of the fork. Stir gently while you pour in the egg.
3. Season with chives and pepper before serving.
