Enjoy specials that use Local Roots produce at some of our favorite NYC eateries, selected based on their deep passion for sourcing local and who we view as pioneers in our food system.
We’ve given each restaurant the same items to cook with and are excited for you to taste how different each chef prepares their Local Roots bounty.

From May 8 – 14, swing by these participating establishments and ask for their Local Roots special. In true Local Roots style, you’ll receive a card that tells you about the farms that grew your food. Wahoo!

Ancolie: 58 West 8th St, West Village, 8am-7pm
Local Roots crew will be hanging out here on Thurs, May 11 from 5:30-7pm

Samesa: 495 Lorimer St, East Williamsburg, 11am-11pm
Local Roots crew will be hanging out here on Fri, May 12 from 6-7:30pm

Verde Curated Greens: 22 W. 25th St, Flatiron District, 11am-8pm (closed on the weekends)

The Good Fest Mini Conference is ideal for anyone who is interested in building a deeper connection with food. The workshops are designed in a way to encourage group discussion and to create a space that is informal and fun for participants to meet other like-minded people. We select topics we believe are necessary and unique to our food system and are concepts that inspire the work at Local Roots NYC for the upcoming year.
